NotLuck Sweepstakes

The guide

How to run a cracking sweepstake.

Two minutes to set up, one link to share, then it looks after itself. Here is the whole thing, start to finish, for you and for your members.

For you, the organiser

Set it up in five minutes, tops.

01

Create it

Name your sweepstake, pick a password your members will use, add your email. Optionally drop in your logo and a colour so it looks like yours.

02

Get your link

Hit create and you get your own link and the password straight away. Nothing to install, nothing to configure.

03

Share it

Post the link and password in your community, group chat or email. That is the launch.

04

Already ran one?

Bring an existing list. Upload a CSV of names and, if you have them, the teams people already drew. We keep those exactly as they were.

05

Sit back

Entries, leaderboards, eliminations and the cheat-catching all run themselves from the real match results. You do nothing.

For your members

What they actually do.

01

In with the password

They open your link and pop in the password. Members only, no accounts, no sign-up.

02

Draw a team

Name in, spin, and they land on a team with a share card made for posting. One entry each.

03

Follow the tracker

Live leaderboards, a wooden spoon race for the worst team, and a running tally of who is still in.

The fun bits

The little touches that make people share it.

·

Share cards

Every draw makes a branded card sized for LinkedIn. That is how it spreads through a community on its own.

·

The wooden spoon

A leaderboard for the worst team too, so the people who drew a dud still have something to play for.

·

The VAR

Try to sneak a second entry and you get caught, publicly, with a sense of humour. Wrong password? You will see.

Good to know

The straight answers.

Is it really free? Yes. Free to run for the whole tournament.

Where does the data go? Entries are held by NotLuck to run your sweepstake. Members only hear from us if they tick the box, and you can read the privacy policy any time.

Can I have it on my own brand and server? Yes, that is the paid, fully custom version. Get in touch and we will build it for you.
